Brisbane City Council is proud to announce Valley Fiesta’s dates for the two-day party across Brisbane’s iconic Fortitude Valley are the 7th & 8th of October.
Fiesta will see a wealth of proudly home-grown artists takeover 6 outdoor street stages on Friday and Saturday. The Brunswick St. road-closure is back and overlooking the Brunswick Mall stage. In 2011 we also welcome the Alloneword Alfred St. stage, Elements Collectieve Stage, Visible Ink Youth Stage on Saturday and Friday Fiesta is presented by Kaliber.
Valley Fiesta is not just about the music; this much-loved annual event celebrates the artistic and geographical spoils that have flourished from the Valley’s vibrant cultural melting pot. Experience a range of unique and elective events, ranging from long Chinatown Banquets, rooftop roller-discos, the QLD B-Boy Championships, Ann-Other Street Party, a Wonderland High Tea and bustling street markets.

Strut & Fret Production House is onboard again to manage the creative direction of the 2011 program after a tremendously successful 2010 festival. Strut & Fret are a national leading events management and arts producing organisation whose events include ‘The Garden of Unearthly Delights’ at Adelaide Fringe, The Carnival’s Edge for Major Brisbane Festivals, and Melbourne international Comedy Festival.
